This page applies to Reel Muslim on iPhone, iPad and Android. Deleting your account removes your personal data from the service and is permanent.

Fastest way: in the app

• Open the Account tab.
• At the bottom, choose Delete your account?
• Confirm: with your password, or — if you signed in with Apple or Google — by confirming with Apple or Google.

Deletion happens immediately. There is no waiting period or deactivated state.

If you cannot sign in

Email [email protected] from the address used for your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. After we verify your identity, we will delete the account.

What is deleted

• Your email address, display name, and password.
• Your reactions, saved reels, and followed channels.
• Your sign-in sessions on every device.

What is kept, and for how long

• Viewing records are detached from your identity when the account is deleted, and the raw records are deleted on a rolling basis within about 30 days.
• Public aggregate numbers, such as total reel views or reactions, remain because they do not identify you.
