These terms apply when you use Reel Muslim's app or website. By using the service, or by creating an account or signing in, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.

About Reel Muslim

Reel Muslim is a free, non-profit Islamic app with reviewed short content such as Qur'an, hadith, seerah, stories and reminders, plus prayer times, a daily reminder and Tafsir. See Where the money goes for how project funds are used.

Reel Muslim is operated by Al-Halbouni Computer Programming, which provides the app and the service described in these terms.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• Provide accurate information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• You can delete your account at any time from inside the app.

Acceptable use

Use the service for personal use. Do not disrupt or overload it, automatically extract its data, test its security without permission, impersonate others, or bypass content review. We may suspend or close accounts that abuse the service or harm others.

Content

• Content is published by channels approved by Reel Muslim, and reels are reviewed before they appear, except for a small number of trusted channels that may publish their own reels directly. Rights remain with their owners. You may watch, react, save and share content in the app for personal, non-commercial use.
• Our standard is that no haram content reaches you. If anything that breaks this standard appears, report it in the app (the … menu → Report reel or Report channel) or at [email protected], and we will review it promptly. You can also block a channel so you no longer see its reels.

Tafsir and AI

• Tafsir answers show Qur'an and tafsir text exactly as published by the Tafsir Center for Quranic Studies (tafsir.net, CC BY 4.0), together with a short explanation written by AI.
• The AI explanation is a study aid. It is not a fatwa or a religious ruling, and it may contain mistakes: check it against the sources shown with it, and ask a qualified scholar for personal rulings.
• Your questions are processed by AI providers as described in the Privacy Policy. Do not include personal information in your questions.
• Tafsir needs an account and has a daily question limit.
• The Qur'an text and English translation in daily reminders and widgets come from AlQuran.cloud. See Account → Sources in the app.

Ads and money

Advertisements are reviewed before they appear and are currently the project's source of income. The app does not currently collect payments or store payment details. If direct support is added, these terms and the Privacy Policy will be updated first. See Where the money goes.

The service is provided as-is

We work to keep the service available and accurate, but it is provided without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reel Muslim is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

Changes and contact
